Uninterruptible Power Supply from ADE
Whilst ADE have supplied UPS systems as part of generator and stand-by power solutions for many years, UPS hasn't been part of our core business. All that is set to change as we establish ourselves as Uninterruptible Power Supply installation specialists. Our systems are industry standard and compete in quality and reliablility with any international high end UPS on the market today.
A UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) differs from a generator oriented emergency power system in that it can provide instantaneous or near-instantaneous power by means of one or more attached batteries and associated electronic circuitry.
Projects involving high power applications or where a high step load is required, a flywheel based system may be necessary (Rotary UPS). A flywheel provides a spinning mass to enable short term instant power, giving the main UPS time to output the full power required.
Containerised & Portable UPS Systems
Permanent UPS installations aren't always required, therefore we offer almost limitless configurations of containerised and custom built enclosures for situations where a temporary or portable system is preferred.A portable UPS would typically be used to protect the likes of data centers, telecommunications equipment or other computer based business equipment when there is the short term prospect of a mains power loss. Common reasons for this would include instances where sites are undergoing major electrical works or have been suffering temporary power shortages or failures.
