Generator Commissioning & Installation Engineers
The business is a specialist supplier of diesel generators and bespoke silenced and super-silent generator enclosures. The position is integral to the business, by offering technical expertise both internally and to customers alike. It will be an all-encompassing role from using technical electrical drawings, providing customer design specifications, commissioning of projects and aftersales service and maintenance responsibilities.
The role will mainly work from the office / factory in Yorkshire, with the occasional customer visit to support any technical query or issue. The role reports directly into the General Manager and will work alongside a close-knit technical team.
You will need to be a fully qualified Installation, Commissioning Engineer with at least 3 years qualified experience. You must have all relevant qualifications, especially full certification with City & Guilds 2382-12 17th Edition. You will need to fully competent to operate alone and as part of a team, as it is a role where instant delivery is needed rather than growing and developing into the position.
It would be an advantage if you have experience of generators or switchgear as well.
In addition, if you have strong communication skills it will be an advantage, particularly when dealing with customers.
