Advanced have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. We are looking for an engineer who has a lot of experience in a wide range of generators up to 2 MWA in size and their associated control systems. The position is integral to the business, offering technical expertise both internally and to customers alike. It will be an all-encompassing role from using technical electrical drawings, providing customer design specifications, commissioning of projects and fault / solution finding visits. Working from the office / factory in Yorkshire, experience with Deep Sea Electronic Modules and panel design and switchgear would be an advantage. You must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, with strong customer service and communication skills when dealing with customers.

Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm. Overtime, when available, at time and half.

Experience and Acceptance Requirements

Qualifications - City & Guilds 2365 and BS7671– 17th Edition; EAL Inspection and Testing or equivalent preferable. You must have at least 3 years’ experience in this or a similar role with generators and their control systems. A full clean UK driving license essential and the successful candidate will be conscientious in their way of working but be able to cope with the pace of production.
