Cummins X-Series X2.5-G2

The Cummins X-Series X2.5-G2 is a 50 Hz 1500 RPM Diesel Engine capable of an electrical output of up to 28 kVA (22 kW) standby / 25 kVA (20 kW) prime.

The X-Series X2.5-G2 Diesel Generator Engine features all the reliability and robustness that people in the generator industry have grown to expect from Cummins, but in an even lighter, smaller and more economical engine.

As with all Cummins' engines, the X2.5-G2 is made to last thanks to its cast-iron block that has been purpose-engineered for high reliability and durability. Other features include:

  • An in-line, direct injection Bosch pump that makes for more effecient and cleaner fuel consumption.
  • A parent bore block with optimised rib arrangement and a stiff, deep crankcase that reduces noise levels and improves strength.
  • A 12-volt electrics package, complete with alternator, starter & fuel solenoid.
  • A spin-on single fuel filter & oil filter.
