We are currently searching for a Graphic Designer / SEO assistant to join our Marketing team at our head office near Pontefract. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of professional work which demonstrates their passion for creative design and the ability to work from a brief. This is a very demanding role that will test your design skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, the ability to juggle a number of tasks simultaneously and working to deadlines is essential, getting to grips with our products and industry is also fundamental.

The Graphic Design element of this role will require the production of a wide range of content delivered via a range of media; printed materials, web content, branded goods, signage and more. You will be expected to have good knowledge of industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, an eye for detail, knowledge of professional graphic design standards, creativity and a positive attitude to challenges. Photography and Video recording skills are advantageous.

Working as part of our Marketing team you will also be expected to diversify and perform digital marketing tasks based on your experience but training for elements will be also provided. This could mean creating content for one of our company websites (images, blogging videos, text), running email marketing campaigns or social media accounts. Knowledge of the digital marketing/SEO landscape is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
  • Create compelling and effective content, designs, print and digital media
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in graphic design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication, written, conceptual thinking, typography and design skills
  • Portfolio of work to view
